Year 5/6 Class Teacher Required
This is a permanent, full-time appointment from January 2012. The class is a vertically grouped Y5/6 class. The school is looking for a gifted teacher who can fully support and help deliver the vision of the school and has a real passion to see children be the very best they can be.
The curriculum areas to be covered are; Literacy, Numeracy, Topic, ICT, Science and PE. The school runs the junior department like the middle school system with the pupils being taught Music, Technology, French, Art and Science by specialist staff. However, the present post includes teaching Science to two KS2 classes.

The King’s School is an Independent Christian School for pupils from Foundation Unit through to Y11 and is designated by the DCSF as a school with a religious character. Applicants will therefore need to demonstrate their ability to work within the ethos of the school. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and the successful applicant will therefore need to undertake an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
