Lexie – former pupil
As I drove up the school driveway and took in the breathe-taking surroundings I instantly new that this Christian school was the place for me. A wonderful, peaceful atmosphere seemed to beam from the setting. I spent two wonderful years at this school, which seemed to go far too quickly!! I grew as both a person and in my relationship with God. Without my experiences at the school I would certainly not be the person I am now. Although a small environment, it has taught me how to deal with all sorts of situations and people; and not to be afraid to express my faith. This school has helped me gain confidence in who I am as a person and not to worry about standing out from the crowd. Although I was only there a short time, I made some wonderful friendships, which I am sure will last a lifetime. Even now I still miss the school, and would give anything to still be there! I looked forward to everyday at school, knowing it would hold something new to learn, see or hear. Every teacher had their own quality that drew you to them. This school became like a second home and family to me. The small classes meant strong bonds were formed within different year groups and with teachers. Anyone who goes up to this school will sense the peaceful atmosphere that is all around. I still go there now just for that sense of tranquillity.
It was certainly a good foundation for me. It helped me come out of my shell and taught me a lot about who I am, and at the time who I wanted to be. Even though we were in our own haven away from all the troubles of the outside world, it seemed to make me no longer scared of this world; and where I once would have hid, I now would stand tall with my head held high, proud to be who I am and what I believe in. For this I can not thank the school enough!
