The speakers will be Mike Simmonds & Phill Moon

Mike Simmonds has been in Christian ministry for nearly 30 years in a variety of contexts across the UK.
Mike first became a governor in his children’s primary school nearly 25 years ago and soon was elected Chair which continued for about 8 years. Currently he is Chair of Governors of a Primary School in Essex working
towards Trust School status. For many years Mike was itinerant evangelist working in Churches and schools. He also served as Head of Education and then Church
Development at CARE, followed by Director of
Ministries at Viz-A-Viz Ministries. He has travelled widely presenting and speaking on the role of the Christians as a governor and was the guest speaker at our most recent CST National Conference.

Phill Moon is the founding Head of Bradford Christian School and is one of the CST’s leadership team. He has a wealth of experience in Christian schools and communicates with vision, wisdom and humour.


The conference will be a great opportunity for the Heads and Governors of our member schools to gather together at The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick in Derbyshire.

We intend that the conference will examine issues of direct relevance to us and be a mixture of plenary sessions, seminars, discussions and devotional times as well as opportunities to relax and get to know one another better.
